There used to be a Volks Dolffie hobby shop down a side street near the Tokyu Hands in Shibuya. It seems to be gone now although the website shows they are still at a number of other locations. When I stumbled across it a few years back, the assistant ran me through the joys of creating your own Dolffie goddess. He showed me a spray he liked to used to finish off the body of the doll. "Is that to protect the plastic?" I asked. "No," he said, smiling, "It makes the skin look like it's sweating."
