Bandai "Cat Communication Tool"

Bandai has decided to re-release the famous nekonyanbou cat's paw toy for a limited period until April. When it appeared 20 years ago, it quickly shipped over a million units. 945 yen at stores like Kiddyland and Tokyu Hands.

Anyone can help me determine if Bandai will be shipping these internationaly? I am in California and am married to a woman who will flip the fugout for one of these... just not proficent enough at reading Japanese yet to order one!

That's a tough one. Amazon Japan is taking orders and they ship internationally but it looks like that might be limited to books, CDs and DVDs. Tokyu Hands and Kiddyland only ship within Japan.

You could try writing to Bandai's Head Office (1-4-8 Komagata, Taito-ku, Tokyo, 111-8081 Japan) or send an email via their Customer Enquiry Form. That one is intended for Japanese but you might be lucky and get a sympathetic soul if you write simply and clearly in English. Failing that, you might find it's the kind of thing that J-List will carry. You could always mail them to ask.
