Maybe this should be merged with the Beckham thread...?
http://www.fuckedgaijin.com/forums/showthread.php?p=118500
Beckham, 30, admitted to being baffled when Brooklyn recently asked for help with a school assignment and had to turn to his former Spice Girls pop star wife Victoria to help out.

"Their homework is so hard these days. I sat down with Brooklyn the other day -- and I was like, 'Victoria, maybe you should do the homework tonight'.

Postby canman » Mon Feb 27, 2006 8:00 pm

Got 7/10 right. But I had to think about those for a while.
On a seperate note, last week here in Aomori-ken, the public high schools had their annual entrance exam, and some stupid test maker decided that instead of a high school entrance exam, they would use the Center shiken as a guide. What happened were the lowest grades to be posted in the past 20 years. People are up in arms about it. The math test was university level type questions. I guess that is one way to pare down the applicants.

Actually, to be honest, I had to google some of the terminology before I answered; 'Standard Deviation' could have so many meanings!

hehehe i got 9/10. I think the one i got wrong i guessed though because i did not know the meaning of the symbol in the equasion (What's the value of (10-5)^2 + 12/4?) what does the little thing between the bracket and the 2 mean???(i probably should know it). I used to suck at Math, but going to high school here for a while sharpens your mind - its just that much harder without a calculator.
EDIT ok thats how some people write squared - ok im not sure we ever learnt it like that - always the little 2

^2 = squared. I just told you that on MSN too, but just for anyone else who was wondering. And I just read your edit. Damn.
Hell, it doesn't seem to be used much in everday classroom maths - I only know it cos I've done some programming in the past, where you're much more limited to what symbols you can use.

You all saw this, right?

I got:
***You Are a Schoolgirl!***
Image
You're not quite as wild as a "kogyaru", but with your short plaid skirt
and silly white socks, you're still a sexual fetish object.
You can usually be seen hanging out in the girly section of the video game places,
collecting photobooth stickers of you and your friends. You may not be as innocent as you look.
Did those vending machine panties once belong to you?

I didn't.. Thanks for making this thread Japan related.

But some of those were hard to answer.. Obviously:
You Are a Kogyaru!

If it's cute, you'll wear it. Fake and bake, hair bleach, and bright makeup line your bathroom cabinet.
As for clothes - anything that's short and cute ("kawaii!").
You are the prize object of all sorts of men - but you are really looking for a rich foreign guy.
He'll find you out hanging out in Shibuya shopping at the 109, text messaging and sending photos over your cellphone.
