IS there a way in which I could try to learn how to speak Tosa-Ben? I hear people from Kochi prefecture know Tosa-Ben and I'm interested.

If you talk while playing with yourself, you'll be speaking tosser-ben.

It's close, but not quite the same. In Tosa-ben, I guess they would describe my answer as: Waya ni shiteiru yo!

If you can't bag a local off the street somewhere, why not try googling for gems like this:

Tosa-ben--> Tokyo-ben--> Jiji-ben

Tosa-ben is rare but FG Dimwit and I hear it plenty down in Shikoku. But more mainstream, there's this great book on the Kinki region's dialects.

Personally, I'm having to deal with a son who addresses me in Iyo-ben jaga!

Tosa ben sounds normal to me, but then I am usually drunk while visiting Kochi (as are all the locals) so everything sounds pretty much the same. BTW if you are thinking of coming to Kochi on projecting trip to Japan
