I was thinking today about the Japanese employees attitude of doing anything and everything they are told, even if it includes some shit job like putting umbrella condoms on customer's umbrellas at the front door, when I remembered that each ticket gate at Hakata station (Fukuoka) now has a poor JR monkey saying "arigatou" to customers.
This makes me wonder if, after recently highly publicised accidents, if JR West isn't in the shit at all. Anyone know?
