Fuji TV's Engine drama

Postby karekora » Thu Mar 09, 2006 3:06 am

Its a bit old, but I enjoyed watching the TV drama called 'ENGINE' with Kimutaku and Koyuki. I think it was on Fuji TV. Anyone know where abouts in Japan it was set??

Thanks!

Was that one based at a Fire Engine company?

I believe the story was set in & around Tokyo, so that would make the circuit Fuji.
My daughter watched the show & liked it, well she was only 11 at the time. On the other hand I (as an avid racing fan) thought it was a bunch of bunk...the same feeling I had during that other Kimu-taku hit about hockey, Pride I think it was called.

just in case anyone else in interested, gaijinzilla was correct :) it was set in and around Tokyo, mainly Machida-shi, Hino-shi and parts of Kanagawa.

Engine wasn't as good as some of the other Kimutaku dramas. The plot line stunk and it seemed like they rushed the entire story in the last episode. Of course, the one Kimutaku drama I really liked was "Good Luck!"
