So close.. you could probably pass at your current level of ability, just by knowing a little more about how the test is graded. It's been a while, but I recall reading some advice about whether it is better to guess or to just leave the question blank, but unfortunately I don't recall just which strategy works. I'd have to dig my prep books out of storage to look it up. A simple strategy like that could yield a few points over the whole test.
Suffice to say that when you're this close, it is almost better to study the test format to get an advantage there, rather than studying the language. Of course, it's better to improve your proficiency and answer more questions correctly...
Zannen! May I recommend a couple of therapy treatments with the local pub keep and perhaps a German massage to get over the ....sigh....'s.
Good luck and give'em hell on the next one!

SG, don't worry. As long as you're doing this just for fun, you may as well consider yourself as having passed. 8 points ain't nothin. You are at a level now where you can be doing lots of fun real-life reading, instead of poring through boring textbooks.
Anyway, I think it's likely that all you have to do now is a ton of reading (with dictionary at your side, of course) and Level I will be in reach before you know it. Screw level II.
