Mr Kobayashi: First, I experienced a sort of overpowering feeling whenever I was in the room with foreigners, not to mention a powerful body odor coming from them. I don't know whether it was a sweat from the heat or a cold sweat, but I remember I was sweating whenever they were around.

BUT, and a big but, he can’t have any girlfriends because he was beaten as a child [men, shed a tear here. Girls swoon accordingly].
The court room scene was the big breaker for me, anyone who has spent time in the lower courts knows that what happened in the movie would never happen in real life.

You're missing out. Bridges of Madison County was the first movie I took my wife to when we were dating.
