Let's see now....If I say that, for example, the editorial staff of "Der Stuermer" was filled with hate, that makes me a hater? Or if I point out that the Quran is filled with exhortations to kill "idol-worshippers" (i.e., Hindus, Buddhists, most J-folks), does that make me a hater?

Please, do run along and do something politically correct - preferably on the freeway.

Now Phillippe is free to get three more wives - as young as six years old, if he wants to emulate the Prophet (pbuh). Perfectly permissable in islam. As is female genital mutilation.

Methinks that coach Phillippe just wants some legal perk in Morocco such as only muslims can buy property (oceanfront or large tracts). Conversions of convenience are common ---if not the norm--- in islamic counties. Sheeeeee-t, I almost "converted" to get a $100+k/year university job in Saudi Arabia.

Why was it ironic? It was a comment on the truth.

The koran says:
It's okay to lie to an unbeliever
It's okay to torture an unbeliever
It's okay to kill an unbeliever
Blacks are (add any negative you want)
It's okay to abuse a woman

So what was ironic about my comment? It's based on knowledge of islamic fundamental ideas.

Yeah, the Koran is pretty much the Mein Kampf of Islamofascism. It's all spelled out pretty clearly. For example, apostates (people who leave Islam) are punishable by death, according to the Koran. That's why the Afgani fundies want to kill that Afgani who converted to Christianity.

If Troussier converted for professional reasons, he sold himself pretty cheaply. Talk about a Faustian bargain.

Ok..

Stoning in the Bible
http://www.free-minds.org/bible.htm
Punishment for sexual misconduct

Deuteronomy 22:13-29 "If any man takes a wife, and goes in to her, and then spurns her, and charges her with shameful conduct, and brings an evil name upon her, saying, `I took this woman, and when I came near her, I did not find in her the tokens of virginity,' then the father of the young woman and her mother shall take and bring out the tokens of her virginity to the elders of the city in the gate]Stoning for preaching a different religion[/b]

Deuteronomy 13:6-11 "If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son, or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own soul, entices you secretly, saying, `Let us go and serve other gods,' which neither you nor your fathers have known, some of the gods of the peoples that are round about you, whether near you or far off from you, from the one end of the earth to the other, you shall not yield to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him, nor shall you conceal him; but you shall kill him; your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. You shall stone him to death with stones, because he sought to draw you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and never again do any such wickedness as this among you.

Stoning for practising a different religion

Deuteronomy 17:1-7 "You shall not sacrifice to the LORD your God an ox or a sheep in which is a blemish, any defect whatever; for that is an abomination to the LORD your God. "If there is found among you, within any of your towns which the LORD your God gives you, a man or woman who does what is evil in the sight of the LORD your God, in transgressing his covenant, and has gone and served other gods and worshiped them, or the sun or the moon or any of the host of heaven, which I have forbidden, and it is told you and you hear of it; then you shall inquire diligently, and if it is true and certain that such an abominable thing has been done in Israel, then you shall bring forth to your gates that man or woman who has done this evil thing, and you shall stone that man or woman to death with stones. On the evidence of two witnesses or of three witnesses he that is to die shall be put to death; a person shall not be put to death on the evidence of one witness. The hand of the witnesses shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. So you shall purge the evil from the midst of you.

Stoning for blasphemy

Leviticus 24:10-16 Now an Israelite woman's son, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the people of Israel; and the Israelite woman's son and a man of Israel quarreled in the camp, and the Israelite woman's son blasphemed the Name, and cursed. And they brought him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelo'mith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan. And they put him in custody, till the will of the LORD should be declared to them. And the LORD said to Moses, "Bring out of the camp him who cursed; and let all who heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him. And say to the people of Israel, Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin. He who blasphemes the name of the LORD shall be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him; the sojourner as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.

Leviticus 24:23 So Moses spoke to the people of Israel; and they brought him who had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones. Thus the people of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.

Stoning for breaking the Sabbath

Numbers 15:32-36 While the people of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the sabbath day. And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation. They put him in custody, because it had not been made plain what should be done to him. And the LORD said to Moses, "The man shall be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp." And all the congregation brought him outside the camp, and stoned him to death with stones, as the LORD commanded Moses.

Stoning for stubborn and rebellious sons

Deuteronomy 21:18-21 "If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son, who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and, though they chastise him, will not give heed to them, then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gate of the place where he lives, and they shall say to the elders of his city, `This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard.' Then all the men of the city shall stone him to death with stones; so you shall purge the evil from your midst; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.
Guess you were stoned when you read these parts. ;)

Is the Old Testament part of the Bible?

Good thing we're educated well enough to distinguish the differences between the Old and New Testaments. Otherwise, some fundamentalist could convince me God wants us to "stone [some slutty chick] to death with stones, because she has wrought folly in Israel by playing the harlot in her father's house.."

In 2002, the Saudi Religious Police pushed 25 schoolgirls back into a burning building because they weren't "modestly" attired. Woman, gays, freethinkers, "apostates" are on the receiving end of stonings all the time in the islamic world. The Taliban's preferred method of dealing with gays was pushing a stone wall over them. Women who refuse to enter into arranged marriages or who date infidels or who are rape victims are the subject of "honor killings" all the time in the islamic world, and even in places like Germany, France and England, where large numbers of mohammadans live.

Show me where Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Shintoists, etc., are doing this today.

Really, GJ, we all know how you worship Bush (the political dynasty, not the female pubic mound), so your pole-schmoking defense of the Religion of Arab Imperialism is no surprise. Maybe you and Dubya can have a threesome with King Abdullah next time at Crawford.

Yeah, we know you feel that way about Bush. But yeah, Buddhism, Shintoism, Hinduism, Judaism...They're ALL superior to Jizzlam. See, here's the thing: Jizzlam kills Buddhists and Hindus , Jews and Christians; Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, and Christians ARE KILLED By Jizzlamaniacs. It's called Jihad. There ain't no muhfukin' equivalence.

By the way, what's your fixation on Christianity? I'm in Japan because, for one reason, I like Shintoism and Zen Buddhism. Are you a JW or something?

Just askin'. You seem to see everything in Christian-centric terms. There are other beliefs out there, you know, and most of them have been violently fucked-over by the jihadis. Ask any Hindu.

By the way, since you love yourself some Dubya so much, why don't you pay my taxes for me, because I damn well am not keen on having to help pay off the 500 billion and counting he's dumping into Iraq.

That's where I left my 'holy water'!

I brought up the Bible because it's the only 'religious' book I've fully read, and Chrisianity the only religion I've 'practiced'.. AO, who is Christian, accused Islam of being a religion of 'hate'.. when a little research would prove that Islam, although seems to, does not have a monopoly on hating:

http://kkkk.net/home.htm
http://www.godhatesfags.com/

I think religion is kind of messed up anyway, but extreme religion is totally fucked. I'm always confused when 'moderate' people say things based solely on the extremes.. It seems to cause the moderates in different religions to move further away from one another.. Essentially becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy..

Extremism is only good for drinking binges.. Moderation is the key to everything else..

Buddhists get all the babes anyway. ;)

I'm just crank-yanking. GJ has obviously long been opposed to Dubya's misguided adventurism, as have I. But in his defense of the indefensible Death Cult of Saudi Imperialism, he sounds a lot like Bush ("Islam is a religion of peace").

And he's got some damn fine DVs, so I know he appreciates the fineness and foxiness that can be found here. I like Japan too because of its freedom from puritanical BULLSHIT (pace AK). I've never faced religious discrimination here, unlike way back when I lived in Utah, where I faced it all the time. That's why I like Buddhism and Shintoism; they're are vastly more tolerant religions than Islam, the ultimate form of puritanism and misogyny: wrap 'em up in black blankets, lock 'em in the house, cut off thier clitorises, and marry 'em off to cousin Rashid back in Baluchistan, and if they don't go along, it's "honor killing" time). Soo...sorry, but all religions are NOT created equal. Islam is BULLSHIT.
