How Much Sex Is Too Much Sex

I'm doing a research project on the sex habits of the Japanese and I want to know.....

No actually I'm having a discussion. According to Sakyo Komatsu,

They found a diary of a Japanese man written in the Edo period in which he claims he had sex with his wive(s) at least three times a day, on average 5 and often as many as eight times. He complains that the women kept running away after spending various periods of time being married to him. I don't know how many times he was married.

I say there is no such thing as too much sex, he just needed to find the right woman, but my significant other says she agrees with the women who were right in escaping from such a person.

I'll put this one to the experts.

If your partner runs away because of your drive for sex, that might be a good indicator of too much sex...

Personally, once or twice a day would be ideal. Though I think the ideal would vary from person to person, and culture to culture.

His "diary" was probably the Edo period version of "Penthouse Forum" and started each story with:
