Good web page designer in Tokyo/Chiba - Recommendations?

Postby dingosatemybaby » Thu Mar 24, 2005 7:15 pm

Dingo's wondering if y'all know of any good web designers in the Tokyo or Chiba area. I need to set up a business site with flash animation and all that crap and there's just no way I could begin to try it myself. From what I've heard, I should expect to pay 200,000 yen and up. C'est la vie, I guess. If it's done right, it'd be worth it. By the way, the site would have to be in Japanese - another reason I couldn't begin to try it myself. Many thanks. :!:

Yes, I know a great one: Taichi Yamazaki. He does icons and web design.

Yeah, yeah expect to pay 200,000 yen and up. If you don't find a cheaper developer, contract me "officially". My office handles gaijin customers and bilingual sites but we're farkquing too expensive.

Hi,
I've been working as a designer for several years in London and am now working as a web designer in Tokyo. Most of my work has been in the fashion and music industries, but I've recently been doing a fair amount of corporate work.

You can take a look at my portfolio http://www.cursive.co.uk and if you're intersted we can meet up in Tokyo for a few drinks. I'd be able to show you the rest of my work off my laptop.

Best,

Dan

Still don't understand why you guys are still paying an arm & a leg for buying locally - most of that stuff is now being outsourced ( and yes they do speak Nihongo in those foreign lands )

Dingo is in a foreignland. He (or before he disappeared into his second coming) is in Chiba. That is as foreign as you can get and you don't even have to leave Japan for it!
