[floatr][/floatr]Shigeo Fukuda specializes in optical illusions - often called "trick art" in Japan. Author Al Seckel covered this genre in his book, "Masters of Deception" and he has also created a page with some links to short clips of Fukuda's work. You can see the video of a 3D re-creation of Escher's waterfall design here. Last year saw the publication of the artist's own book, "Masterworks", which features a slection of his exhibition posters. Fukuda's career spans over 50 years and he is probably the most prolific designer in this field as well as a former President of the Japan Graphic Designers Association and an honorary professor at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.
