Researcher heads to Japan for cow behaviour studies

A livestock officer from Trangie, west of Dubbo, is about to embark on a study trip to Japan to examine how cows behave.
The researcher from the Department of Primary Industries, Bob Kilgour, has been studying animal behaviour at the Trangie Agricultural Institute and will travel to Japan to study the behaviour of cattle in Japanese beef production conditions....

"It's just that we don't think of them in that way, I must admit if I was a cow with a pair of binoculars on Wynyard Station at peak hour I'd probably not think there was too much individuality in human beings either but we know that there is."


Now now, we can't have that! Saying that cattle are as individual as humans is nigh as to say they have personalities...surely a little too sentient for the comfort of some meat eaters.

We just need something above us in the food chain, like we are to the cows, dolphins, and whales.

That will create the proper order of things.
