Despite being more than 5,000 miles away from Montana, in Kyoto, Japan, Ken Marcure is running as a Democrat for the U.S. Senate.

Marcure, 58, filed in March and hoped to return to his native state to campaign.

So the guy is running as a Democrat in Montana? I wasn't aware that there was such a thing. I'm not greatly sure that working as a teacher in qualifies you to do anything so I suppose the US Senate is as good a place as any to end up.
