For some reason, I think that Britney looks hot in that picture.

And I can't stand her. Maybe its cuz she looks like a porn actress who
just got goosed with a large one.

Or maybe it's the 'O' her mouth is shaped. Dunno.

dunno, are you a rabid japanophile who goes on and on about how your quaint little old sensei has taught you so much about yourself and your place in the universe? Do you throw yourself through the air at his slightest touch?

Yep, I was there! 95' - 98'

I went back for a visit and onsen this winter and could hardly recognize the place. Not that there is anything new.. it's just all been torn down..

Hachinohe is still the same though. (although you can't take a train into Hon-Hachinohe from Misawa any more.)

I lived in Misawa from 91-95, Hacinohe from 95-2000

And what's this about not being able to go from Hon-Hachinohe to Misawa???

Do you have to get off at Hachinohe and switch trains?
Is it because of the new Shinkansen route?

Sorry guys but I split off the chatter from the Random gaijin pics thread. This thread gets REALLY long and it is really for folks to check out the photos.

Keep up the chatter by all means - just wanted to keep the photo thread for photos.

Let me know if this bothers anybody and I can put them back. I tried not to remove anything that interrupted the flow of the thread.

Yeah the new Shinkansen station has changed things around a bit. The only train from Misawa into Hachinohe now brings you to the shinkansen station. Right around where Steak Miya is. (sorry I forget the name of the area..)
