Foreigners, especially westerners, contribute to a great deal of wine consumption in Japan. We can take more alcohol and have cultural background appreciating wine more than Japanese. We also take Japanese people, or dates, to restaurants and recommend them to drink wine.
Now, my friends run an online shop http://www.romanianwine.jp/eng/, THE ONLY ENGLISH WEBSITE THAT SELL ROMANIAN WINE IN JAPAN. The website sells Romanian wine. Interesting, huh? Romania has as long history in wine producing as France and Italy. They just don't market. Sweet Romanian wine is fabulous, as good as Sauternes and Tokaj.
Anyway, to help my friends, how should they market? Can anyone have any suggestions? They also sell wine to restuarants and bars.
