When I bought an iBook in Japan they asked if I wanted a Japanese or English keyboard.. Doesn't appear to be an option anymore..

While my inner marketer wholeheartedly approves of milking consumer fetishism for additional cash, given the 20 GB HD upgrade can be bought for $50 more on its own, $150 more solely for the black color is a bit much. While tech hardware elitism is common (such as the thinkpad and vaio factions), there is usually some technical aspect (no matter how lame and unpractical it may be) behind it, while in this case is solely a color. While black is a pretty cool color for tech goods, in this case it seems that it's primary purpose is to say "I'm richer than you, bitch/I have no sense of intrinsic value/I am just a total Apple whore". If was $30 more, I'd be totally cool with it and probably pay it. At $150 more, I'm thinking "How fucking stupid do you think I am, Apple?"

I fondled one at CompUSA yesterday. Pretty cool and VERY fast.
I want a MacBook Pro though. The MacBook won't run Motion well.
