The Australia Society Tokyo is having its annual BBQ at the Australian Embassy on Sat May 27. Everybody is welcome....

Date: Saturday 27 May 2006
Time: 5:30pm - 9:30pm
Location:The Australian Embassy Garden
Cost: \7,000 for members, \9,000 for non-members

The BBQ was great, even with the rain. I highly recommend attending next year's event.

I also got some Australian history lessons as well. IMHO, XXXX beer is pretty bad, but Cooper's was pretty good. :wink:

the meat was amazing - cut like butter. Plus there was chicken and samon parcels.. the most fab salads and desserts.

Ah well. Care factor = nil. This was a promo for a non-profit volunteer run social group that donates millions of yen to charity in Japan.
