Avid Coming to Tokyo and Fukuoka

Postby mr. sparkle » Sun May 28, 2006 8:48 am

The boys from Tewksbury, MA are takin' it on the road. They had a good year at NAB. A software only version of the Avid Media Composer that runs on the new Intel Macs and totally smokes. It's about $5,000. However, if you are a student, you can pick it up for an unHEARD of $279. That's insane!

If you are a video head, check out this link.

Actually, they never officially offered me a job. However, I am still in touch with them. Sometimes it takes awhile to get in there.

I was thinking about taking an online course at city college just to get my media composer, but then again, I could just wait and get it for free.
