Hello everyone,

I have friends leaving for Japan in August and they'd like to get their hands on some pre-paid phones or rentals for their trip. Can anyone recommend a good service that covers all/most of Japan?

You might find these older threads of use...short version, you need the right visa (non-tourist) to buy a pre-paid phone in japan nowadays; there are several rental places for gaijins but they tend to be fairly expensive
