Local Council-Run Hostess Club in Kyushu

[/floatl]ZAKZAK (Japanese) reports that a city official in Beppu, Oita prefecture has been arrested for violating laws on illegal employment by operating a hostess club with girls from the Philippines and Romania. A chief examiner from the Waterworks Bureau is alleged to have run the office work of the pub from his home and paid himself a director's salary from the business. He is said to have admitted running the club but denies doing anything illegal. Nine foreign dancers and other club staff were also arrested.
