Unfortunately, it doesn't show the attack on the reporters but this youtuber, with English commentary, does show the bout and the trash talking.

Tsar' Roho throws tantrum after defeat
Reuters, 16 July 2006 08:35, TOKYO... Roho, nicknamed the "Russian bear", chased opponent Chiyotaikai into a bathroom after an explosive bout where both men broke several of sumo's strict rules of engagement. After exchanging angry words with Chiyotaikai following his loss, Roho punched through a window of a bathroom door, showering his conqueror with broken glass.
Roho, whose real name is Boradzov Soslan Feliksovich, then slapped two photographers just moments after being dragged over the coals by sumo officials. One of the photographers was taken to hospital suffering bruises to his face.
Roho's violent outburst was widely condemned by sumo elders and could earn the 26-year-old a lengthy suspension....more...

I thought this argument might come up but I'm surprised it is the Asahi:

Assault outside the ring
... Roho's violent conduct must have given many sumo fans the uneasy feeling that sumo's venerable traditions, handed down through generations of stablemasters to their disciples, could soon be lost. If the erosion has begun, one could blame an obvious reason: the recent increase in the number of foreign-born wrestlers. The latter now comprise one-third of all makuuchi senior division wrestlers. These non-Japanese are bursting with the hunger to succeed, and their determination has greatly revitalized the sport. However, because many have risen quickly through the ranks, they have not been imbued sufficiently in the traditional sumo spirit that slower-rising wrestlers gain the hard way. They just haven't paid their dues.

Irrespective of their nationality, all novice wrestlers are taught courses that include the history of sumo. But the newcomers have little if any command of the Japanese language, and it is doubtful whether they understand all that they are told. Perhaps the Japan sumo association should consider giving them a refresher course in sumo history after they master the language and become acclimatized...more...

Reading that, you can be forgiven for thinking that no Japanese wrestler has ever misbehaved on or off the dohyo.
