Kyodo via Crisscross: Matsushita sues Taiwan optical disc maker
Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. said Thursday it has sued Taiwan's top optical disc maker CMC Magnetic Corp for patent rights infringement...the major Japanese manufacturer is calling on CMC to pay damages and suspend its sales of DVD discs, which Matsushita claims uses its proprietary technologies.

This is not a riveting story but I've been looking for any slight pretext to post that image.
