Today's shock news:

Chron.com: South Korea Net Importer of Kimchi
South Korea's imports of the traditional spicy side dish kimchi exceeded exports for the first time as lingering safety concerns made consumers wary of Korean-produced product, an official said Monday. Imports of kimchi, Korea's famous pickled vegetables, stood at US$40 million while exports were US$33.6 million for the first six months of the year, said Joo Pil-hoon, an official at the Agriculture and Forestry Ministry. Most South Korean kimchi imports come from China.

Joo attributed the sharp decrease of kimchi exports to the Korea Food and Drug Administration's announcement in October that it found the eggs of an intestinal parasite in South Korean kimchi, though it posed no health risks. The announcement led to a nose-dive in Seoul's kimchi exports to Japan, which accounted for 90 percent of the overseas market. Japanese are still reluctant to buy South Korean kimchi, said the ministry. "Despite our campaigns, Japanese consumers do not see South Korean kimchi in a positive light," Joo said, adding that it is not easy to increase export volume again to Japan. South Korea exported kimchi worth US$93.5 million last year while importing US$51.3 million worth of the pungent pickled vegetables.

I had some bad kimchi a couple weeks back.

made me INSTANTLY sick. And I was stoned at the time too and I thought I was having a heart attack, but it was BAAAAAAAD indigestion.

Stoned and sick is just FUCKED UP. I actually called my folks cuz I got short of breath too.

I swore off weed and kimchi both because of that shit.
I will not abide ignorant intolerance just for the sake of getting along.
