With his content, I think it'd be tough to find a 'reasonable' hosting company..

I've had a lot of bad experiences with companies that promised and started out fine, but ended up fucking me.. I don't want to recommend company that is fine for me but might turn out bad for him..

While I don't know if Ninjashot's material would be welcomed with open arms (although there's no shortage of semi-clad flesh on Flickr...I came across this guy a few weeks ago...http://www.flickr.com/photos/simpleplan/ ), I don't think Masa would have any problems with most of his Masamania shots on Flickr. And while Flickr isn't as blog-friendly in layout, you can write long introductions to photo sets, which most of Masa's posts were...a small to medium write up about something and usually dozens of shots and you can make comments on each picture if you choose. While not as fully customizable, nor as visually striking as Masamania was, for only $25 a year for a pro level account and no bandwidth issues, it might be one option for him..

Youtube is claiming a fairly broad, unlimited licence to use content that users upload but isn't claiming that they own it, just that they can use it what ever way they want and people can't come back and say "hey, you owe me a cut of the ads sales/cell phone revenue/whatever when you showed my mentos and diet coke video". Apparently, the licence ends when you delete the file so users still have ultimate control over their content.

Flickr's terms of use seem to be a paragon of clarity compared to most websites...and users have the option choosing several levels of copyright claim on each image page (full, creative commons, none, ect). The only possible issue might be the "no professional or commerical use" clause.

you know, daddy, I am becoming more and more japanese. because I am surrounded 1000 percent by Japanese. And gaining my PhD in Japanese. and being married to mr masamania, and also working in roppongi hills part times, I had no chance. But this Year, I promise, I will do my best.

Masa honey is posting excessively on mixi recently. But I also wish he would keep up his webpage. Because that is how we met.

He is taking pictures every single weekend since I know him. He has become so good at what he ist doing, I really wish he would open his page again.
