Rumor has it that Honda Motor Co. Ltd., is about to take a major stake (+25%) in XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc., and has received government approval for it.
Below is the government form that terminates some type of limitation that has previously existed....

Sadly XM Radio is a failed business model back in the US. I can see Honda putting these things in all of their cars as a base model feature and force the subscription fee on every driver. Will we be seeing XM here in Nipland? I doubt it. If it was a viable business, we would have seen it take off 10 years ago with more high bandwidth video streaming and GPS WiFi access.

It is sad; I really enjoyed it driving down the west coast the last time I was home..

Are you sure it's 'failed'? Could it be re-invented? Is the timing wrong?.. Although, the combination of cars with built-in iPod docks and Podcasts might spell doom for satellite radio..

The Enrichment Center reminds you that the weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak.
