I have been a victim of these lately... I get about 1-2 a day. Kinda annoying but I can take care of them. Hard to know where they got my address from as it is not advertised anywhere. Unless some horrible person signed me up but then some of my friends also get these mails.

Nine People Suffer Spam Musubi Food Poisoning On Maui

HONOLULU -- The state health department said nine people on Maui have suffered food poisoning since last month after eating spam musubi.
The state said the nine got sick after eating the rice-spam-and-seaweed treats from several vendors.
So far, the poisoning has affected mostly young children between the ages of three and nine. Two were taken to the hospital emergency room.
The state is now investigating places that sell and make spam musubi on Maui.
Sanitation inspectors on the island are also conducting random checks of retailers to make sure they are storing musubi at proper temperatures.
They are further making sure that retailers don't sell the musubi too long after the food was prepared.

I am Mr.E.B Fasheyiky and though I reside in the U.K, I am actually a

of my degree programme, my family decided to open the first European

was of course a good beginning for me.

have once again brought it to our attention, that the tax rates
applicable to our company due to the fact that we the owners are not British
is gradually "killing" our business. Unlike the last time I was alerted,
I have this time, taken a critical overview of the records from "day
one" and the auditors seem very correct.

This situation when related to my father has really been disturbing.
After much "brain storming", my father has decided to close the UK
branch. He has directed that we salvage what is left of our investment and
concentrate our efforts on Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Now, you must wonder why I have contacted you! I am contacting you now
because there is an arrangement that I have personally mapped out to
ensure that what ever cash remaining in the Company account be
transferred to who ever is willing to assist me in this regards. All you will be
required to do is to draft an agreement from your end that you will be
supplying Medical and Agricultural Equipment to the tune of $18.5
(Eighteen Million, Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars) in my
Company's favour. Once this agreement is set up, I will need to see the
contents and have a copy submitted to my bankers here so they can
immediately begin the transfer processes of the stipulated amount in favour of
goods to be supplied(Supposedly) by you.

After the agreement between you and I has been submitted to my bankers,
I will file for bankruptcy while the agreement still stands with my
bankers. This way,I will be able to leave the U.K back to my Country
without having to pay so much taxes on the funds remaining and I will not be
loosing much money at the same time. You must understand that I
personally have something in it for myself because what I declare to the
company in Dubai, is what will be stated and accepted.

If you are willing to assist, please respond to this message and bear
in mind that your confidentiality is required because if this
arrangement fails, I will probably loose everything I own in the U.K

Dimwit, I have been bombarded with the same kind of nonsensical spam, and it is just getting worse. I am getting up to 30 messages at a time, and although I block each and every one, it just keeps getting worse. Any suggestions, other than changing my email address to stop this flow of crap. It really is becoming a pain in the ass, and taking up time. Are there any spam blocking filters os something. I tried setting up rules for my email but each and every time the subject is always just a little different. I was also careful about using my yahoo address when entering sites etc. but it seems somebody who had my real email address got me into this spam hell.

Here's what I've done to deal with SPAM (and forgive me if someone else posted the same thing earlier, but I'm a little too zangyou'ed to go check).
Do what the hostesses do, instead of having multiple keitai, make multiple e-mail accounts: one of which you use for entering all those "sites" (credit card in one hand at 2am). It's kinda like a garbage account, one that you know will wind up filled with SPAM. Keep your friends, business, family, etc., on an account that shall never be revealed to a porn site...or.....ummm...never be revealed to a site that sells it's info to anyone.

I haven't gotten that much junk on the "clean" accounts, but the "dirty" account gets about 10 Viagra & Cialis messages a day....my ex promised that she'd never tell anyone about that "series of incidents".

Geez, you behind the times. Lately I been getting investment opportunities for penny stocks that are guarantee to increase 500% over the next few weeks.

Without knowing what type of e-mail account you are using, you can use a spam blocker and set it to only accept e-mail from people you know. If you are using Outlook here is a site that might help.

Irara I have to disagree with you about porn site being the source of most spam. I noticed that a lot of the spam I have been getting has CC's attached and looks like it came from a mailing list that some generous soul in my service provider sold to an information broker. Yahoo BB for one has certainly had cases of information thief from inside and it would be surprising to me if almost all e-mail systems had been similarly compromised.
