Sumo Stable Watching

I did a brief search but didn't find anything specific..

I have some friends visiting, and they're interested in going to one of the sumo stables to watch the guys practice. Is this possible? If so, where in the Tokyo area?

Any of them, really.. The guys just want to check out 'some sumo guys' one morning. Unfortunately, I don't think I can go.

The Lonely Planet has a heap of information and phone numbers about this. I have one at home if you need to use it for a while.

Lonely Planet Japan - not sure of the edition but it has been in the last two that I have owned. The latest one I have is the geta on the front.

Thanks for the offer! And thanks to everyone for the insight.. I recommended them to pick up the Lonely Planet guide at Tower; they can use it for other info while they're here anyway.
