If you're not a girly girl and Japan proves once again to be the inspiration for North America's next hot fashion trend, you're in trouble.
In Tokyo stores and on the streets, bows and ruffles and other ultra-feminine details rule. On Omotesando-dori, sometimes called the Champs-Elysees of Tokyo, I was transfixed by two strands of pearls, dotted with tiny velvet bows, hanging from the back of a gauzy, lace-trimmed pink camisole.
In trendy Shibuya, a young woman with a cellphone glued to her ear drew more than a little male attention in a hot pink slip dress trimmed in black lace....more...
