Had that happen to me once (she was trying to steal my seat on the train when I turned around to put my bag on the top shelf), but I just sat down and read my book, and she huffed off.

It reminded me of that Winston Churchill quote:

I've never experienced the obatarian... but I have had the old shits bust through the train lines on me... I usually give up my seat to old timers out of respect.

I think some of them are serious codgers though.
