We make our way over to the faceplate rack. I casually ask one of the troupe why she has an Xbox 360.

"I live in New Zealand for a study aboard. And one of the going away presents I got was an Xbox 360 game."

"I didn't have an Xbox. So, I bought one when I got back to Japan."

And the game?

"I don't remember, but it didn't work with the 360 I have."

New Zealand is a different Xbox360 region code (and I believe also PAL TVs as well) than Japan, so that's why it probably didn't work. Hard to rack up that sale to MS marketing magic...Looking at the photo makes me think that MS should bundle a keitai charm that is identical to the faceplate with each faceplate kit, so girls can show off their 360 ownership.
