Shibuya in 1953

The Shirane Memorial Hall of Local History in Higashi, Shibuya, is hosting an exhibition of photographs of Shibuya Station and its environs from the Meiji through Showa eras. There are only 22 pictures on show but i'm a sucker for these so hope to get along before it finishes on October 9th. They have already shown Ebisu and Hiroo in earlier exhibitions. Entry is 100 yen.

The second floor of the Tokyu Plaza building (across from Hachiko and next to Mark City) has quite a display of old Shibuya photos in the hall that leads to the restaurants. I remember seeing over 10 in there. Well worth the trip.
