It reminds me of the insight into another crime from this top criminal profiler:

One of my all time favorites happened during the severe water shortage of 1994 when most of the dams in Western Japan emptied out and they found a body that had been tied up in the bottm of a reversior and the police claimed it was suicide until some year later some gangster confessed.
