Spousal Visa Tips

Hello,

I'm doing some research on Spousal Visas. Any tips on what's needed, things to avoid, watch out for, etc.?

More Details: Currently on a 3 year working visa, but will change to a Spousal Visa on next renewal. Also, not with the same company.

So far, I've found this site, but I can't seem to find much about Spouse Visa info:

Here are the documents you need from your wife.

All up to date (generally within the past six months)

Tax Certificate - Gensen choushu
Work Certificate - Zaishoku shomei
Family Register - Koseki touhon
Residence Certificate - Jyuminhyo
Letter of Guarantee - Mimotohoshousho

Plus

Filled in Application
Your Passport
Your Gajin registration

They may ask for photos of you both together at the wedding.

If you have the above then there should be no problems.
