This looks to be a web ad (its a bit too long for a TV ad) for CAPCOM's Clover Studio game "God Hand" for the Playstation 2. While the game has met with rather sizable indifference in the US, if they ran some ads like this here, that might change.

Hmm, that god-hand spanking of the bimbo in the commercial is good fun for us in Japan. However, I suspect that a lot of that " sizable indifference" is that a sizable minority of the folks in the US just might find the game's name "God Hand" blasphemous in addition to the sexist spanking.

...God Hand is simply about a guy that somehow manages to get the hand of an ancient God attached to what's left of his arm after it was sliced off during a particularly violent encounter. So of course he's going to use this divine gift to beat the living hell out of people, rather than help construct irrigation canals in drought-stricken Africa....
