I'm a college senior about to graduate next spring(07). I'm serious considering an internship in Japan during summer. Any suggestion where to look, I already started on site like JETRO(my school is not on the partnership list), AIESEC, and so on. Does any of you have a good place for me to look? I really appreciate your help.
Try The Japan Foundation, they will have information on various programs, such as the Nambu Foundation internships. Contact your nearest Japanese Embassy or Consulate, which usually has a Japan Foundation associate.

If you are receiving a super-whoopie degree from MIT in computer science or the like, my ex-company Hitachi offers a few internships. Just spam their HR email addresses and see if you get a reply. All big Japanese companies have a few, very selective internships available but you need an introduction from the Emperor to get a response out of them.
Try using google search of all the big Japanese company names + internship (in both English and Japanese). Job sites like Gaijinpot.com have internships listed right now: See.
JapanInc magazine always has internships (abuse) available--Check their website. Likewise, I bet JapanToday/Metropolis would consider an internship IF you had some specific skill/talent to offer.
