39,000 yen will get you a Yon-sama figurine (apply here). Fans of the star would not seem to be natural buyers of this kind of otaku fare but Excite Japan is betting that enthusiasm for "Winter Sonata" is still strong enough to bring in the orders.

Id like to see the Yon sama figure take on the Jesus figure. Jesus can hit him with a fish and yon sama can throw his glasses or maybe a shoe.

Yon-sama would win easily, initially... his primary attack would be his goofy fucking stare into outer space, head slightly tilted. Jesus would come at him all fists and elbows and then stop short, confused like, "WTF are you looking at?!" and as Jesus turns to look Yon-sama would pelt him to death with snowballs.

But then, of course, 3 days later, Jesus comes back to life when noone is looking and stabs Yon to death in the face with nine inch nails.

Actually, the only thing that's important about the figure is the head sculpt - if you can get just the head, you can put it on a whole selection of Dragon and G.I. Joe action figures (as well as Dollfie, perhaps) for a fraction of the inflated cost they're offering it for.
