Japan 'most communist country in the world': Horie

Friday December 15, 06:23 PM
TOKYO (AFP) -
Takafumi Horie, the once high-flying Internet entrepreneur now on trial, has denounced Japan as the "most communist country," blaming his downfall on envious bureaucrats and media "mind controllers."....
"This is a Japanese-style communist country, some say perhaps the most communist country in the world," Horie told Britain's Financial Times.
"Japan may on the surface appear to be an equal society but in reality is not," he charged.
"Japan has fallen into the same trap that all communist countries fall into -- the elite members of the bureaucracy claim they will decide what is right and most important for everybody."....more...

Yeah, Horiemon! Go tell it on the mountain, brother! Japan is run on "gyousei shidou" - "administrative guidance" - and that guidance comes from the mandarins in the ministries. Sort of the J-version of the Politburo members. University presidents, for example, the President of Kinki Univ., tell their students that there are "no second chances" in Japan, and that they are "defectives" or "losers" if they don't take a career-path job right out of graduation. In the Soviet Union, nonconformists were treated with psychiatric drugs and sent into "internal exile." In Japan, they end up in the ultimate in internal exile: Hikikkomori life, unemployable other than as freeters, because as the Kinki President observed, they are "defectives." The Soviets would've called them "class enemies." And that's how Horie is being treated - as a class enemy. My neighbor Tsutsumi Yoshiaki committed far more egregious financial, er, malfeasance over a 40-year period, but he's still helicoptering around to his various aijin's places after a slap on the wrist.
"If there's a river, we'll dam it, and if there's a tree, we'll ram it - 'cause we Japanese are talkin' progress!"

Yup. The only reason Horie is getting fucked is he isn't part of their old-boy network and he didn't pay their game.

I have to agree as the same thing happened to Bill Gates until he eventually gave in and became part of the "good 'ole boy" network of the elites lest he lose his entire company.

Anyone remember that a while back Microsoft was under indictment by many state prosecutors, not only in the US, but around the world, for their monopoly of computer OS's and their web browser? The future of Microsoft was seriously in doubt. Then suddenly Bill Gates' wife shows up at a Bilderberg conference a few years ago and suddenly "donates" some $10 million or so to aids research in Africa (a false front of the elites as the money actually goes in their pocket along with many other so-called "charities"). Then, like magic, all the indictments disappear, the media shuts up, and Microsoft is "allowed" to dominate the computer industry! Hmmmm!

Also, Warren Buffet is leaving his billions to the Gates foundation upon his death. Hmmmm.

Also, Ross Perot (anyone still remember him?) didn't play the game either when running for president. He was crucified in the media, made to look like an idiot, and suddenly disappeared off the face of the earth's media. Why is he not being interviewed by Larry King today as his prediction of "a great sucking sound" as US jobs are off-shored because of NAFTA has come true? Everything he has said about the future of American jobs and businesses and Mexico has come true.

Yep, Horie refused to play the game, and now he's being forced to pay for his individualism. It doesn't matter what country you are in, if you become big enough in business, any business, "the comittee of they" will force you to play their game or they will crush you like a bug.

In a way it's really sad because not enough people actually realize what is going on. The medication and dumbing down of the populace has taken hold.

And the noose is steadily getting tighter in the US as can be seen here: John McCain introduces legislation against blogs.

That's still the case in the EU on several issues and the election of GW Bush put the DOJ's prosecution of MS out of business overnight....can't have the governement making life hard for businesses under Bush. Gates didn't buy his way out of that with his charitible acts, the people who voted for Bush did that.

The DOJ action is not over yet. The Iowa Attorney General refused to settle and is proceeding with his own antitrust lawsuit. The trial started this week. They're asking for $330million in damages. I suspect they could be awarded punitive damages, which could easily drive the award to over $1Billion.
