Hi, I am thinking about buying a bike, 125cc, and I was wondering if someone had a recommendation about insurance. There is the compulsory one which I guess can be handled by the shop, but I would like to have a more comprehensive one that covers all, everything done to me, everything I do to others, theft, etc.
Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have owned both 125cc and 250cc bikes here in Japan and by the far the cheapest to get insurance for is the 125cc because it seems it is classified here for insurance purposes as what they call "Gen tsuki" or motor assisted bicycle which even the 50cc are listed under. The 250cc insurance cost me nearly as much as the car insurance did.
