ディアスポリス-異邦警察
Saw this new serie while browsing through Morning at the office. I didn't get everything but it seems to be about the gaijin underworld and other 不法滞在外国人.
One of the author's name is Richard Wu so i'd guess he speaks from experience.

I'm Captain Obvious..

The manga's name Diaspolis is a Japanese shortening of "Diaspora" and "Police".

According to the Amazon.com book Synopsis: The manga follows the exploits of the Metropolitan (Tokyo) Government Office for Illegal AIien Police" and the secret gaijin-organized "Shadow Police" for undocumented aliens. Diaspolis deal with problems such as kidnappings of illegal aliens and organ theft of undocumented foreigners.

There's nothing in English about Diaspolis yet, but using the Katakana "ディアスポラ" there plenty of googly info.

Japanese manga blog notes that...
"As for the author's name, “Richard Woo”, I have a “suspicion it smells” and Diaspolis' Richard Woo is just a pen name, so, the truth seems that it is a Japanese who wrote it."

Are you saying that we are in danger of having our organ stole by undocumented fgs?

I am going to go with Mrs Taro's comment that it's an intentional multilingual pun on both "police" and "[metro]polis."Image

This just cropped up again in conversation. It turns out that Richard Wu is a pen name for Takashi Nagasaki.
