I'm a kind of psychological "haafu" in that I don't feel entirely "at home" either in Japan or in the US. The chix are cuter here, though.

BTW, what's the Spanish word for "haafu"? "Mestizo"? "Mulatto?"

Just a quick hello to everyone here, I'm Ryan from Sydney, Australia. I'm currently planning a 6 week stay in Japan next January. I would visit sooner but can't take time off work until then. Here in Australia I work for the government as a Network Control Officer for the rail network, so I control where a bunch of trains go and so on!

I've long had a keen interest in Japanese cars and culture.. can't wait to visit. Will be stopping in to HK for a bit too but I don't think it will compare to Japan!

Anyhow there's my quick hello, look forward to contributing many junk posts for your amusement :D

Yep, dapper John knew my grandma. And, a couple of years ago, Mrs Taro and I saw the "Vagina Monologues"at the Biograph Theater,which is just a short stroll from my house near Diversey station on the Ravenswood Line.:p
