agree totally. i also think the biggest difference between western (north american specifically) women and say asian & eastern european women can probably be summed up in these eight words:

"but what have you done for me lately?"

they're pricing themselves out of the market. obviously one can't say there aren't women like that here too but the sense of entitlement just seems to be quite predominant in north america.

For me, it had very little to do with cultural reasons and everything to do with physical reasons. There are attractive women everywhere. But the average Japanese woman is way more attractive than the average American woman and the main reason is... weight. The average American woman is huge! Maybe that's fine for the average American man who is also fat, but hey, I'm not. My wife (Japanese) and I are now damn near 40 and we're both still in great shape with no visible fat on our bodies and weigh the same we did when we met 15 years ago. I'd say 80% of Japanese women are like this, while it's only about 10% for Americans.

So...if you're going to go shopping in a large group of women and pick one that has a good personality and shares your general interests and outlook on life, the chances that that woman is also fairly attactive are going to be a lot higher in Japan than in nearly everywhere else in the world.

Fat American chicks will claim that the Japanese just have a genetic advantage. Yeah, whatever. They also eat much better and are more active - hell, at least they walk or bike to the freakin' train station everyday instead of pouring their fat asses into their cars. Even if one has a genetic disadvantage, in 99% of the cases it should be no excuse: we expect lower IQ kids to still study enough to pass the tests the higher IQ kids can pass without studying at all, right? So why not expect those with fat genes to just spend a little more time in the freaking gym than their "born skinny" compatriots might have to? The bodies in this country disgusts me. It's not too bad here in San Francisco, but the second I drive more than 10 miles inland, the people are disgusting.

I'm not asking people to starve themselves. But if your body is storing fat we can see when you've got clothes on, then you're eating more than your body needs. Stop it. Or move your fat ass more each day to burn off those extra calories you're eating. It's not quantum physics.
