cheap airlines

Postby akatsuka » Mon Jan 29, 2007 10:52 pm

Not quite sure where to post this, so throw it somewhere else if its in the wrong place.

I looking to go to Tokyo for the summer for about a month. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good airlines or deals that I could take advantage of?

I'm a British fulltime University student, flying from anywhere in London to anywhere in Tokyo. I dont mind stop-overs, as long as its not too long or too silly. I'm 23, so I guess I still can get away with a youth ticket?

I've heard Asiana is good, but their website seems to be always down so I cant check prices.

All the other times I have been I have been with JAL (yucky food. ticket was expensive, but it was an open ticket) and Virgin (goody bag! cost = 550pounds.)

Big thanks :)

I always used Korean Airlines when I was younger]Korean [/I]Airlines!'?.. Now I prefer Singapore, but they're a bit more expensive..

You might try a travel agency; they'll probably have cheaper seats available since they purchase in bulk..

Try to find a Chinese travel agent in London. They always seem to find cheap consolidator fares with the major airlines. Don't call the airlines directly because you are not going to get the cheapest fares. A Chinese travel agent will be able to find unpublished fares for you. If you don't know where to find a Chinese travel agent go to Chinatown and I'm sure you'll see one there.
