
Alexandra Yoder, 12, found a way for crepes and peanut butter to replace seaweed and eel in a sushi roll. Technically, the rolls are sushilike, replacing fish with fruit, soy sauce with chocolate yogurt and adding a layer of peanut butter to the crepes. Yoder’s concoction, called Peanut Butter Rolls “Sushi Style,” won her a slot in the top 10 finalists in the fifth annual Jif Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest...For Yoder, a sixth-grader who attends St. Vincent de Paul School, the creation was simple. “I pack my lunch everyday for school. I usually pack a peanut butter sandwich, and I love to eat sushi,” she said...Yoder wrapped Jif peanut butter, granola, strawberries, bananas and strawberry cream cheese inside a crepe. To top it off, she placed two pretzels on the side for chopsticks and chocolate yogurt in a bowl for dipping.
