"After he paid tribute to the Kumsusan Memorial Palace on Jan. 1, he saw a Japanese car that wasn't working blocking the road and gave a National Defense Committee edict to seize Japanese cars," a source familiar with the North Korean situation said, asking to remain anonymous. North Korea's founding leader Kim Il-sung's embalmed body lies in the memorial in Pyongyang.

SEOUL, Feb. 19 (Yonhap) -- North Korean leader Kim Jong-il has ordered most Japanese cars in the communist country seized in a sign of his growing discontent with Japan imposing severe sanctions . . .

Under Kim's order, all Japanese cars are to be seized or banned from the streets, except for ones given as gifts to secret service agencies, prestigious movie stars and athletes, according to the sources. . . more

Rumour has it that they will be interned in special camps, and the car owners will be allowed only limited visiting rights through the barbed wire every 2-3 months. And no conjugal visits.

They'll probably separate them too - a Toyota camp here, a Nissan camp there, and a Mitsubishi camp next to the steelworks.

"Work brings Freedom" will be written in Korean over the front gates.

Perhaps the J-government should offer to take this further and remove all of the following from NK for them:

1. all Japanese electrical components and knick-knacks from the NK's nuclear rockets]all Japanese citizens (and their children) kidnapped and taken to NK against their will;
2. the letter "J" (for Japan) from everything (signs, names, programs, etc) - so "Kim Jong-il" will become "Kim ong-il";
3. the letters "I", "L", "M" etc. (for Isuzu, Lexus, Mazda, etc.) from everything - so "Kim Ong-il" will just become "Kong" (and maybe NK could make him a King ); and
4. all Japanese food - like rice (didn't the Japanese invent that?)
