Main compartment has two swinging doors. Other compartments are pull-out drawers. Automatic ice compartment, convertible freezer/fridge drawer, vegetable drawer, and freezer. Individual temperature control for each compartment.

One huge gaijin will fit inside, right? So that means how many many normally-sized Nihonjin will fit, three to four?

Well, it depends how you cut them up. The hardware store thread is here.

The great news is that using the handy control panel on the front, you can keep the lower extremities, upper extremities, head, etc. all at their own individual temperature, depending on how you divvy things up. Even better, there's a feature I neglected to mention before. A de-stink feature (also per-compartment, so you don't accidentally de-stink parts where you want to retain any pleasing aroma).

Just curious though is will the warranty still be valid after the change of ownership on this monstrous eco-destroyer?

I was wondering, although you can buy better, longer-lasting equipment at Tokyu Hands, wouldn't it be prudent to purchase a set of cheap tools at Daiso since you'll probably only be using them once and disposing of them shortly afterwards?

Just got off the phone with the friendly folks at the Bic Shuuri Senta. They confirmed the warranty's good until Summer 2008, and all they need is a phone call to register the name and address of the new owner. As long as the new owner holds onto the warranty receipt, it's good.

Feel free to continue the discussion of chopped up body parts, but as for the refrigerator, it's now off the market. Cheers!
