Koreans healthier to eat than Japanese

Postby kurohinge1 » Wed Feb 21, 2007 12:50 pm

Koreans Doing Better Than Japanese in Dioxin Levels

Koreans take in half the dioxin the Japanese people ingest from marine products.

According to the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries [MAF], the amount of dioxin Koreans take a day is 0.8 pictogram per kilogram. The amount is less than half what the Japanese ingest. The ministry explains this is because Japanese diners tend to eat more sea food than Koreans. The amount also just 20 percent of the Korea Food and Drug Administration standard.

Exposure to high levels of dioxin could cause health problems . . .

So . . . if I understand correctly, if you want to be healthy, you should follow the Ministry of MAF and eat Koreans instead?

Kuro, I don't think you are qualified to comment on this topic until you have eaten as many Koreans as I have.

So, you spotted their small mistake ( ).

But if it's Japan we're talking about, maybe it should be pikagrams.

The vast majority of dioxin is produced by burning plastic at the wrong temperature. Since I assume both countries do it on a regular basis. The survey would seem to measure which country can tell the biggest whopper.:p

Wow! The Koreans are kicking ass lately. They're even beating Japan at suicide.
