４）アイルランド製品の日本市場向けマーケテイングプラン
何か一つ日本で売れそうなアイルランドの製品を選んで、日本市場への進出の可能性を見る。

so [from what i can understand] the choices are

1. (THE QUESTION OF?) POSTWAR JAPANS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
2. (THE QUESTION OF?) THE BUBBLE ECONOMY PERIOD
3. JAPANS DISTRUBUTION SYSTEMS & IRELANDS DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
4. MARKETING PLAN FOR IRISH PRODUCTS IN THE JAPANESE MARKET:
SELECT AN IRISH PRODUCT TO SELL IN JAPAN, SEE IF YOU CAN ADVANCE ITS POTENTIAL FOR THE JAPANESE MARKET.


...and the other:
典型的な日本/日本人のイメージを一つ取り上げ、歴史的な発展を考えて、日本語〔アイルランド人学生〕英語
〔日本人学生〕でエッセーを書きなさい。

Take a (stereo)typical image of Japan/Japanese people and consider its historical development...

"と問題" seems ungrammatical, you can drop the と. It would more properly be の but I don't think you need the no in these statements either. I think "戦後日本経済の発展と問題" would be OK just as "戦後日本経済発展問題." I see stuff like this all the time, I think it looks like Chinese to see 10 kanji in a row, but it seems to be the standard usage.
I will refrain from comment on #4 except to say it seems to need a little more work.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say with 一つ日本 and 一つ取り上げ but the 一つ doesn't seem to be doing what you want. You could probably omit it.

I dont want to check the Japanese sentences - they were sent to me by my native Japanese-Japanese lecturer.

I just want to check if Im interpreting them correctly... I guess I could just drop him a line and fess up to having crapper Japanese than Im supposed to (but perhaps he already knows...)

Ah, my mistake, I thought you were going from English to Japanese. It is times like this that I remind myself that not all native speakers write well in their native language.

I know you're joking but in retrospect, perhaps I wasn't writing well, or at least, not clearly. Of course I was referring to the Japanese text's author, who seems to have a few idiosyncrasies.
