don't say you teach English, because that locks you into an exclusive club of 99% of the foreigners in Tokyo, none of whom are known for buying expensive gifts, which is one of the things that the girl has on her mind at this particular moment.


Interesting.

One thing the guide did not address was protection from both AIDS and skams..

GIrl lures you back to her "favorite" love hotel, only you find yourself surrounded by some thugs.. would be ok if there weren't 10-12 of them :p

Yes it is the truth, however, this is a double edged sword. :?

I do know somebody who complained that his wife wanted sex too often....

If you need to go to Roppongi to be considered a real gaijin, then you have some serious inferiority complex issues.... :D
last time I knew, as long as you don't have a J-citizenship or a dual passport (because you're considered a "half" or were born in Japan) you're a gaijin by default.... :P

That's just IT though.... anyone with any real common sense picks up women in cafes or trains or through mutual friends or something.

It takes a certain type of woman to enter a club, knowing full well that it's full of testosterone only wanting to get laid!

I went with a bunch of friends to Rappongi once, and I had better luck in Freshness Burger than they had in the clubs there!
Half the time it's finding the right woman, and they sure as hell aren't in the clubs for the most part!

It's totally stupid to go out to "Get laid" from some dumb chick who doesn't give a stuff about you for starters. Women don't respect guys with zero standards.

Actually Roppongi is overarted. The ratio of males to females is too high. I have been to Club 911, Motown Cafe 1 and 2, Wall Street and Gas Panic. I never saw more than 30 girls but there were over 150 guys in those clubs (although I picked up a J-girl in Motown Cafe the day before the World Cup final). Best place to pick-up a girl is outside of Roppongi like Ginza and Shibuya.

Being a white foreigner is a plus but that advantage is substantially diminished in Roppongi. I think maybe I should write a guide myself.

Local cafes and bookstores or just the street is a better way to pick-up a girl in Japan so long as you are white or black.

When I was stationed at Misawa Air Base (Aomori Prefecture - Northernmost prefecture in Honshu), I had a few friends who would jet down to Sendai for the weekend. They might take one day's leave on Monday or Friday or both if it was a holiday there.

They ALWAYS without fail, got laid. They went to Jazz bars down there and hooked up with some of the college ladies down there.
