[floatr]Image[/floatr]Asahi: Exact mini replicas, down to the nametag
Some sentimental grads just can't bear to toss away that old high school uniform--after all, they wore it day in and day out for three years. People like that turn to Sindbad the tailor. His clever stitchers measure and cut, trim and tuck until they produce an exact mini replica of the original uniform, down to the nametag, buttons, school emblem and lining. Sindbad, in this city's Soden-Higashimachi district, remakes old school uniforms to order. Graduation season in March is its busiest time of year...Three years ago, the company decided to dedicate its business entirely to mini uniform makeovers. Now Sindbad creates about 800 miniature uniforms a year... Most orders are gifts from parents of students graduating from junior high or high school. Some have also come from retiring Self-Defense Forces personnel who want to commemorate their time spent in the service. And some orders have come from widows who want to keep a suit worn by their departed husband...more...

:love2: I am going to start being a collector otaku!
His [Brendan Behan's] last words were to several nuns standing over his bed, "God bless you, may your sons all be bishops."
